THE JOURNAL
Clinical Toxicology
Clinical Toxicology (until 2004 named "Journal of Toxicology - Clinical Toxicology") is the official journal of the EAPCCT, the AACT the AAPCC, and the APAMT and publishes peer reviewed scientific research and clinical advances in clinical toxicology. The leading international journal in the specialty with an impact factor of 3.3 (for 2022, as per 2023), Clinical Toxicology reflects the professional concerns and best scientific judgement of both its sponsor societies - the European Association of Poisons Centres and Clinical Toxicologists and the American Academy of Clinical Toxicology.
Clinical Toxicology aims to be the journal of primary interest to all those practising clinical toxicology whether in a hospital, in a poison centre, in academic institutions, in government or industry. The Journal will also be relevant to all professionals at the interface of clinical toxicology with occupational and environmental medicine, public health medicine, regulatory toxicology, pharmacology and pharmaceutics, and analytical and forensic pathology.
